Patient Selection & Ordering Guide

Patient Eligibility

Kinn® is designed for transtibial (Below the knee) amputees only, including both unilateral and bilateral users.

Maximum patient weight: 220 lb (100 kg)
Suitable for users who can independently don and doff their prosthesis and perform routine daily activities.

Dial Side

The dial must always rotate forward during tightening.

Left dial units can only be installed on the lateral side of the left leg or the medial side of the right leg.
Right dial units can only be installed on the lateral side of the right leg or the medial side of the left leg.

Shock Absorber Selection

Select the appropriate shock absorber based on the patient's weight using the table provided in the Technical Specifications.
If a patient prefers a stiffer or more compliant feel after fitting, the shock absorber can be replaced in the clinic with a different
durometer option without remaking the device.
